The $8.25 million compound enters the contingency phase following a major price reduction.
The longtime Malibu estate of the late actress Shannen Doherty has entered the contingency phase of a sale, as reported by Realtor.com, following a recent multimillion-dollar price reduction.
Doherty, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Charmed” star who died of cancer in July 2024 at age 53, purchased the Winding Way property for $2.56 million in 2004. The home was heavily discounted and relisted for $8.25 million on March 2 after sitting on the market for several months following her death. The home is currently still under an active contract, but is not yet final.

Situated behind mature privacy hedges, the contemporary stucco residence features sharp geometric rooflines and floor-to-ceiling glass walls designed to maximize natural light. The interior layout pairs modern lines with rustic accents, utilizing wide-plank oak flooring, exposed wood-beam ceilings, and antique doors throughout.
The central living space consists of a sunlit great room with vaulted ceilings and retractable glass panels that lead directly to the backyard. A fireplace anchors the primary seating area, which connects to a formal dining room and a gourmet kitchen equipped with custom cabinetry, a stone-topped island, and industrial lighting. The primary bedroom suite offers hand-finished plaster walls and direct access to the outdoor pool deck.

The coastal compound also includes a detached, fully finished guesthouse featuring polished concrete floors and steel-framed glass doors, suitable for an artist studio or visitor quarters.
Outside, the grounds are developed for open-air living, featuring a modern lap pool with an integrated spa, landscaped tiered gardens, and an outdoor dining terrace. The property also features a dedicated edible garden with raised planting beds and fruit trees. Doherty frequently referred to the property as her personal sanctuary during her decades-long acting career and subsequent health battles.
