The Venice Heritage Museum will hold a Prohibition Night fundraiser on Sunday, May 31, at Townhouse Venice.
The event, scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 52 Windward Ave., will feature a 1920s speakeasy theme with live jazz performances by Janet Klein & Her Parlor Boys, stories of Venice’s rum-running history, prohibition-era cocktails and prizes.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in roaring ’20s attire. Tickets, which cost $46.35, are available through Dice.fm, with all proceeds benefiting the Venice Heritage Museum.
