Pacific Park To Host Alternative Fuel Vehicles Day This Saturday, Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will host an “Alternative Fuel Vehicles Day”, where residents from Santa Monica and surrounding cities will be able to gather in support of more energy efficient vehicles. Coinciding with this event Pacific Park will also unveil their new SIG Alert EV bumper cars. The event will be held on the pier on the upper parking lot, from 11am–3 pm. The first 100 alternative fuel car drivers will get free parking on the pier, coffee, and doughnuts. Any driver of alternative fuel cars counting electric vehicles, neighborhood electric vehicles, and hybrids will get two free passes to SIG Alert EV from 11am-12am. To provide proof of ownership you have to bring either a picture of you standing next to your alternative fuel vehicle or have them present on your mobile phone/camera.
