Modern and contemporary paintings will be available, as well as photography, sculptures, drawings, multiples and prints. Celebrate the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the U.S this Saturday at Virginia Avenue Park. Juneteenth celebrates African American freedom with picnics, speakers and family gatherings of rejoicing. Live entertainment will feature Ray Brooks and the Blues Masters, Jean July Samba Samba, Chazzlava Drum Circle, and the Marching Thunder Drumline. There will also be an antique car show, delicious southern style food and BBQ and cultural arts vendors.
