The 405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project enters a new stage with the contractor continuing drainage installation along the eastbound I-10 to southbound I-405 connector ramp starting today, Nov. 2 for about five weeks.
Work will also be located along the west side of southbound I-405, just south of the I-10 interchange. Night time work is required due to the need for the connector ramp closure.
In other related news, the contractor begin relocating a telecommunication line on the property of the General Services Administration (GSA) between Sepulveda and Veteran. The work starts today, Nov. 1, 2011 for about two months.
Work activities will take place during day and night time hours.
Day time hours start at 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and will not require lane reductions.
Night activities, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., will require lane reductions through the GSA driveway from Sepulveda to Veteran for several nights.
One lane will remain open for two directions of traffic, with a flagger being used to direct traffic.Some sections of GSA parking will be restricted during this time.
