For the 24th time, St. John’s Hospital’s Jimmy Stewart Relay Marathon will be run in Griffith Park on Sunday, April 17.
One of the largest five-person relay marathons in the nation, it has over 20 categories for virtually every class of runner – from small children to journalists.
More than 10,000 runners are expected to take part.
Actor Robert Wagner will once again serve as host for the event, which is a benefit for the Santa Monica hospital. Since the first race in 1982, at which the late Jimmy Stewart presided, it has raised over $8.5 million.
There will live entertainment in the park, and health and fitness booths.
