Alternative Materials & Design Expo Is Today:

Along with architects, builders, designers and landscape architects, the public is invited to attend the second annual Alternative Building Materials & Design Expo on Wednesday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Santa Monica Civic East Wing and Patio.

The Expo which is the largest showcase of green products in Los Angeles, will feature all manner of alternative materials, ranging from indoor and outdoor paints, flooring, framing and insulation materials, wallboard, solar systems, carpeting, FSC Certified sustainable lumber, tiles, lighting systems, waterless toilets, bedding and household supplies, books, low or no water landscape plants and water products and much more. Information on agency rebate programs and planning assistance will be available.
