LA Roadrunners Start 2013 LA Marathon Sign-Ups:

Runners fill out forms taking the first step towards participation in the LA Marathon 2013 at Westminster Avenue Elementary School in Venice on Saturday

Training for the upcoming LA Marathon 2013 took the first step towards the finish line gathering at Westminster Avenue Elementary School in Venice for an event that drew hundreds of people who signed up for the official training program of the LA Marathon.

Official ASICS Coach Andrew Kastor and a host of trainers led the event with one goal in mind: to get runners ready for the March 17, 2013 race.

The LA Roadrunners is the Los Angeles Marathon’s official six-month training program that features weekly group runs, a comprehensive training manual that has guidance on running technique, as well as advice on nutrition and staying healthy in the months leading up to the LA Marathon race.

Both experienced and novice runners who came to the event got to interact with each other and get information from numerous booths set up to share the wit and wisdom of current and new Roadrunner participants.
