‘The Power Of Bullying, The Plight Of Victims’ Lecture At SMC On Oct. 23:

Santa Monica College will present “the Power of Bullying, the Plight of Victims,” a free lecture by Janna Juvonen, author and UCLA developmental psychology professor who conducts research on adolescent peer relationships.

The talk will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 23 in Humanities & Social Science Lecture Hall 165 on the main SMC campus, 1900 Pico Blvd. For further information, call 310.434.4303.

Jovonen is the co-author and co-editor of three books and has had her research cited in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Atlantic Monthly, Time Magazine and The Christian Science Monitor.

The series is sponsored by the SMC Associates, a private organization that funds speakers and special programs on campus.
