Teenagers Invited to Write Cool Screenplays:

Jeremy Padow’s free workshop, ”Learn to Write a Cool Screenplay in Just Three Classes,” will be held the next three Saturdays, June 4, 11 and 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 826LA in Venice.

Padiw, an aspiring screenwriter who has held various jobs in the film industry, will teach the fundamentals of writing scripts, utilizing in-class writing exercises, and examples of classic and current films to demonstrate structure.

Students should come to class with an idea for a short film, which they will shape into a screenplay during the workshop. Enrollment will be limited to 15 students, ages 13 to 18.For more information, call (310) 305-8418.
