Lindsay Lohan Avoids Prison In Lying To Santa Monica Police Case:

Lindsay Lohan entered two pleas of no contest at the LAX branch courthouse Monday morning in regards to lying to Santa Monica police following her June 2012 crash on the Pacific Coast Highway.

As part of a plea deal, Lohan will spend 90 days in a “locked in” drug rehab facility.

Although Los Angeles Superior Judge James Dabney sentenced her to jail time — including five days and 90 days on two charges — Dabney told Lohan he will allow her to serve it in rehab.

The sentence also extends Lohan’s probation for two years and requires 18 months of psychotherapy.

The Santa Monica City Attorney’s Office charged Lohan on Nov. 29, 2012 with willfully resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer, providing false information to an officer, and reckless driving relating to an accident on the Pacific Coast Highway on June 8, 2012.

Lohan claimed she was not driving a Porsche that rear-ended a truck, but a Santa Monica Police Department investigation states otherwise.

Lohan previously pleaded not guilty to the charges through her then-lawyer Shawn Holley on Jan. 15, 2013.

It was speculated that she may have had to serve up 245 days in prison if convicted — the remainder of her suspended sentence in a previous shoplifting case.
