Community Picnic In The Park

— Douglas Park, 2439 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica

Three neighborhood associations are joining forces this weekend for their first-ever joint community picnic on Sunday from 1-3 pm.

Santa Monica Mid City Neighbors, Wilshire-Montana Neighborhood Coalition (Wilmont) and Northeast Neighbors will come together at Douglas Park for a bring-your-own picnic lunch; complimentary desserts will be provided.

There will also be games for kids including an egg race, a beanbag toss, and a limbo contest.

The three groups are among the seven officially recognized neighborhood associations by the City of Santa Monica.
