1,000 Santa Monica SCE Customers Left Without Power On Wednesday Night:

Southern California Edison (SCE) reports about 1,000 Santa Monica customers were without power on Wednesday night. This was the second outage in as many nights.

According to reports, the blackout appeared to be tied to transformer problem in the 100 block of Fraser Avenue. The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
