Santa Monica Symphony Performs Sunday:

On Sunday, October 9, the Santa Monica Symphony will perform in concert at the Civic Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Musical Director Allen Robert Gross will conduct.

On the program are Mendelssohn’s Overture to ‘Ruy Blas,’ Richard Strauss: ‘Don Juan,’ and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, featuring pianist Rina Dokshitsky.The concert is free. A pre-concert talk will be given by Professor Raymond Knapp at 6:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room. The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium is located at 1855 Main Street.
