Mountain biker Seriously Injured On Trails Near Brentwood:

A mountain biker was seriously injured Thursday on trails near Brentwood.

The injury was reported at 7:07 p.m. on the Brentwood Trails near the 17500 block of Mulholland Drive, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire department responded with air and ground units, he said.

The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital, Scott said.
