Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan announced Monday afternoon the final ballot counting update for the Nov. 4, 2014 General Election.
The update includes 11,548 ballots from across the county processed since the last update on Friday, Nov. 21.
Santa Monica’s local races are part of a consolidated election, meaning the L.A. County Registrar’s office is responsible for the logistics of the election from organizing the City of Santa Monica’s 54 polling locations, to hiring election workers, to counting the votes.
Here are the final results for the local races and ballot measures relating to Santa Monica.
Santa Monica City Council (three seats):
1) Kevin McKeown: 10,138 votes (17.08 percent)
2) Sue Himmelrich: 9,262 votes (15.6 percent)
3) Pam O’Connor: 6,696 votes (11.28 percent)
4) Phil Brock: 5,854 votes (9.86 percent)
5) Frank Gruber: 5,222 votes (8.8 percent)
6) Jennifer Kennedy: 5,037 votes (8.48 percent)
7) Richard McKinnon: 4,890 votes (8.24 percent)
8) Michael Feinstein: 3,729 votes (6.28 percent)
9) Terence Later: 1,874 votes (3.16 percent)
10) Jerry Rubin: 1,635 votes (2.75 percent)
11) Jon Mann: 1,594 votes (2.68 percent)
