North of Montana Association (NOMA) Meets Thursday, April 6

The North of Montana Association (NOMA) meets Thursday, April 6, at 7 pm at Montana Branch Library, 1704 Montana Avenue, with a
reception at 6:30 pm.
A new state law encouraging development of Accessory Dwelling Units as a means to ease the housing shortage, and Santa Monica’s implementation of it,  will be reviewed and discussed.  Accessory  Dwelling Units were previously
known as SDU’s, or Granny Flats.  How will this law affect NOMA and the city’s residential neighborhoods?  Is this the end of R-1?

Panel will include Santa Monica Planning Department representatives Paul Foley and Tony Kim, and NOMA residents Jim Williams and Bob Posek.  For further information, go to www.smnoma.org.  NOMA meets each first Thursday of the month.
