Children’s Park at Palisades Park:

The community has a chance to have input regarding a potential children’s park at the northern end of Palisades Park on Ocean Avenue.

There are many children living in this part of Santa Monica, and there is no easily accessible park for them. Though the exact location is yet-to-be-determined, the park will be somewhere north of Idaho Ave.

Residents are welcome to voice their opinions at the Thursday, September 21 Santa Monica Recreation & Parks Commission meeting, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Ken Edwards Center, 1527 4th St. Those unable to make the meeting can mail their suggestions to the Community and Cultural Services Department, 1685 Main Street, Room 210, Santa Monica, CA 90401; email them to commservices@smgov.net; or fax them to 310.576.1539. The Commission will consider any comments received before September 20.
