Venice Routs Loyola:

Venice High routed defending CIF Division 1 champion Loyola Friday, September 15, 39-14.

Loyola suffered heavy graduation losses from its championship team and isn’t expected to be on that level this season. Still, the one-sided score represents a huge victory for an LA City school over a CIF perennial power.
