Tough Games Are Ahead For Brentwood:

Brentwood had a bye last weekend, and Coach Patrick Brown believes it came at the right time.

Brentwood has football games coming up against two strong non-league opponents, Paraclete and Pasadena Poly.

“They’re two of the toughest opponents we’ll face,” said Brown. “These will be tests.”

The game against Paraclete is scheduled at Quartz Hills High Friday night, September 29. The one against Pasadena Poly will be played Saturday, October 7 at 2 p.m. on Brentwood’s field.

Brentwood has a 2-1 record, winning the last two after losing the season opener to Kilpatrick.

During the bye week, Brown put his players through conditioning drills and smoothed out the offense.

“We used the time well, and it was good to have a rest before playing these strong opponents,” he said.
