School, College and Rent Control Board Elected:

In the election for four open seats on the governing board of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, Emily Bloomfield, Oscar de la Torre, Kelly McMahon Pye and Barry A. Snell were elected. Voting results were as follows: Bloomfield, 16,001 votes (22.34%); de la Torre, 14,081 votes (19.66%); Pye, 13,983 votes (19.53%); Snell, 12,741 votes (17.79%). Shane McCloud received 9,633 votes (13.45%) and Sidonie Smith received 5,175 votes (7.23%).

In the election for the four open seats on the Board of Trustees of Santa Monica College, Nancy Greenstein, Louise Jaffe, David Finkel and Andrew Walzer were elected. Voting results were as follows: Greenstein, 16,201 votes (22.02%); Jaffe, 15,560 votes (21.14%); Finkel, 13,739 votes (18.67%); Walzer, 12,765 votes (17.35%). Tom Donner received 9,767 votes (13.27%) and Susanna Kim Bracke received 5,556 votes (7.55%).

In the election for three open seats on the Santa Monica Rent Control Board, Jennifer Kennedy, M. Korade-Wilson and Zelia Mollica were elected. Voting results were as follows: Kennedy, 10,516 votes (29.98%); Korade-Wilson, 10,052 votes (28.65%); Mollica, 8,854 votes (25.24%). Robert Kronovet received 5,658 votes (16.13%).
