Honor Badges Grace Santa Monica Place:

A project of the Santa Monica Museum of Art’s Neighborhood Outreach Gallery, Wall Works: Honor Badges has given local children the opportunity to create unique works of art.

Artist Kim Abeles created Honor Badges, which “enables young people to identify someone who is a hero or heroine to them and to create a wearable mixed media badge that honors that person.”

Honor Badges can be seen on the third floor of Santa Monica Place through January 11.
