For over 46 years Tower Records, the first superstore pioneer, has been both a national and international destination for your music needs – everything from the old 45s to the revolutionary vinyl LPs, cassettes and CDs. Now a bankrupted fallen giant, the Santa Monica store, along with the rest of the 90-store chain, was sold to the Great American Group for an aggregate of $150 million. Customers across the country are rushing to buy heavily discounted inventory during the final days of liquidation.
