Nonprofit business district Downtown Santa Monica recently moved $1.7 million from its ambassador program for a deal with Covered 6 for dedicated security guards. The security will include both armed and unarmed guards wearing body cameras. We were wondering what Santa Monica residents think of this move. Was it for the best?
