SMMUSD Gathers to Address Time-Sensitive Resolutions
In a press release sent on Saturday, February 24, The Santa Monica-Malibu School District has announced that a special board meeting will held on Tuesday.
The press release states, “The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education will hold a special board meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the district office (17174th St., Santa Monica) and via Zoom.
The main purpose of this special meeting is for the Board of Education to adopt annual time-
sensitive resolutions regarding the notification of specific employees that their services might
not be required for next year.
The board will also hold a special closed session that same day from 5-6 p.m. at the district
office.
Please note that parking for those visiting the district office is available underground at 1717
Fourth St. in spaces marked “SMMUSD.” The code to exit the parking lot will be provided at
the board meeting.
