The football game Friday night, September 14 between Palisades High and Santa Monica will be played at Corsair Field beginning at 7 p.m.
It had been scheduled at Palisades, but the change was made when renovation of Palisades’ field was not completed. Artificial turf is being installed there and a few more weeks are required. With the change, Samohi won’t travel for its first six games. Upcoming ones against Venice, Long Beach Jordan, Los Alamitos and Morningside were scheduled at Corsair Field, as was the Vikings’ opener last Friday against Hueneme.
