More than 200 curated vehicles are expected to line the streets of downtown Pacific Palisades on Saturday as the inaugural Pacific Palisades Motor Classic debuts on the Palisades Village Green, bringing together car enthusiasts, local businesses and residents for a community fundraising event.
Organizers expect more than 3,000 attendees during the six-hour event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public. Proceeds from ticket sales, vehicle entries and sponsorships will benefit the Lowe Family YMCA.
The show will feature a diverse collection of automobiles, ranging from vintage classics and European sports cars to exotic supercars and emerging electric vehicle technology. Organizers said the event is intended not only to celebrate California’s automotive culture but also to support the ongoing revitalization of the Pacific Palisades community.
“This event has been designed to help revitalize the community,” organizers said in promotional materials. “Every ticket, partnership and entry supports the Lowe Family YMCA as it rebuilds from the Palisades Fire.”
Attendees will have opportunities to view vehicles, visit vendor exhibits and participate in hospitality experiences throughout the day. A featured awards presentation is scheduled for 2 p.m. on the main stage.
Awards will be presented in several categories, including Best in Show, Best Porsche, Best European Car, Best Japanese Car, Best American Car and Best Automotive Curiosity.
Participants can enter a vehicle in the show for $125, which includes a designated display space. A VIP hospitality package, also priced at $125, includes shaded seating, food and beverages, access to an exclusive hospitality tent and premium viewing for the awards ceremony.
