Drivers traveling along State Route 27 should prepare for evening delays this week as state road crews initiate guardrail repairs near the coast.
The California Department of Transportation announced that Topanga Canyon Boulevard lane closures will take effect nightly from Monday, Aug. 10, through Friday, Aug. 14.
Operations will run each night between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. along the stretch of SR-27 located between Entrada Drive and Pacific Coast Highway. Work zones will utilize one-lane traffic control managed by flagging personnel in active construction areas.
Transportation officials advise motorists to allow extra travel time, reduce speeds near work zones, and watch for field crews operating along the roadway. Construction schedules remain subject to change due to weather conditions or operational requirements.
