Baseball Roundup:

Palisades routed Westchester, 13-1, as Jonathon Moscot pitched the victory and Lucas Berry drove in five runs.

 The Dolphins improved their Western League record to 3-0 although they lost a Redondo Tournament game to Kennedy High, 6-2.

 Venice won its first Western League game following two losses, 9-5, over University. Dante Calvelli drove in four runs and Zack Mandell pitched the win, striking out eight batters in five innings.

 Brentwood won non-league games over Mission Prep of San Luis Obispo, 3-0, and Vasquez of Acton, 5-3, improving its record to 7-4.

 Jared Talla leads the Eagles with a .600 batting average. Ben Oliva is hitting .421 and has a 3-1 record as a pitcher. Kyle Heyman’s batting average is .400.
