Venice Loses Fifth Straight Game:

Venice High is playing the same difficult football schedule it did when the Gondoliers had superior talent. With less talent this season, the results have not been favorable.

Venice lost to CIF power Oaks Christian Friday night, October 3, and the 42-14 defeat left the usually formidable Gondoliers with an 0-5 record.

Venice has been outscored in those games, 136 to 34.

Venice begins Western League schedule Friday, October 10, against Hamilton, which has a 3-1 record.
