Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver Near South Bay Galleria In Redondo Beach:

A man riding a bicycle was injured by a black SUV in a hit-and-run accident near the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach, police said today.

The accident occurred at 182nd Street and Hawthorne Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, said Redondo Beach police Sgt. Alan Beck.

The injured cyclist was transported to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, a trauma center. The extent of his injuries was not immediately reported.
