SMMUSD Board of Education Retreat and Closed Session This Saturday, Dec 15

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education will be holding a special closed session followed by a retreat with the Superintendent this Saturday, December 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the District Office: 1651 16th St., Santa Monica, CA 90404.

Closed session will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m, with the retreat beginning at 9:30 a.m.

During this retreat, a facilitator will work with the Board of Education and superintendent to discuss board and superintendent roles/responsibilities and district goals for 2012-13. Such retreats are standard practice throughout a school year.
