Scenes From a Protest:

Families to Amend California’s Three Strikes (FACTS) held a protest and candlelight vigil on Thursday, March 24, at Jesse Brewer Park on Exposition Boulevard in South Central Los Angeles on the eleventh anniversary of the law.

According to FACTS, 42,445 people have been incarcerated under the current Three Strikes law — 65% of them for non-violent crimes, and 39 percent of them from Los Angeles.FACTS is among the groups now campaigning for reform of the existing law.
