Samohi Baseball Team Wins Two Games

Following a slow start, Santa Monica High’s baseball team’s record has improved as the season winds on.

Samohi was 0-3, but is 5-6, following recent wins over Grant (13-5) and Pacifica of Garden Grove, (5-4). The Vikings’ Ocean League schedule begins in mid-April.

Crossroads Stands at 3-3

Crossroads evened its record at 3-3 with a 10-3 victory over Grace Brethren.

Brentwood is at 5-1         

The Brentwood High team has a 5-1 record. In the most recent games Brentwood lost to Palisades, 11-1, defeated Salesian, 8-2 and defeated St. Bernard, 9-7.

Malibu High Has a 4-2 Record

Malibu High routed Reseda, 16-1, then began its Frontier League schedule by defeating Nordhoff, 13-1. The team has a 4-2 record.

New Roads Scores Win

New Roads won a non-league game from Hillcrest Christian of Granada Hills, 5-4 in eight innings at West Los Angeles College.The Jaguars overcame a 4-2 deficit with two runs in the fifth and one in the eighth. David Vibiano was the winning pitcher in relief.
