Rosendahl Names Two More Top Staffers:

Councilman-elect Bill Rosendahl has named two more top aides for his City Hall office.

Aaron Gross will be his deputy chief of staff and Norman Kulla will serve as senior counsel.

Gross will be responsible for coordinating Rosendahl’s legislative portfolio and managing the City Hall office, among other duties. A veteran of city government, he has worked at City Hall and on the Westside for City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, Councilwoman Cindy Miscikowski, and Councilwoman Ruth Galanter, Rosendahl’s two predecessors.

Gross has served as a field deputy, a legislative deputy, an assistant planning deputy, a caseworker, and a bureaucratic troubleshooter. Like Rosendahl, he is also a trained social worker, and most recently was his deputy campaign manager.

Kulla, an attorney and civic leader, will handle special projects, including budget analysis, formation of the 11th District Empowerment Congress, and transportation issues. He is the chairman of the Pacific Palisades Community Council, and is active with the Pacific Palisades Optimist Club.

Kulla is currently an investment advisor with Morton Capitol Management, Chair of the Accounting & Audit Committee of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts (LASFA) and he teaches behavioral finance in LASFA’s CFA review program. He has extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation, tax law, business and finance, and conflict resolution. He will resign his positions with Morton Capitol and with the Pacific Palisades Community Council, effective June 30, 2005.Last week, Rosendahl named Mike Bonin as his chief of staff and Margaret Hasheminejad as his executive assistant.
