At the final Divas of Venice performance at SPARC, on Friday night, Jodie Evans, co-founder of Code Pink, was honored with a Venus of Venice award for her work in the Peace movement. Just back from Camp Casey in Crawford, Texas, Evans reported that there are now 2,500 people there.
The evening proceeded with a performance of The Election Hygienists, a satirical and informative play: comedy by Reno and a runway fashion show in true Code Pink style.
