Kuehl Speaks Tonight on New Insurance Plan:

This evening, August 10, State Senator Sheila Kuehl will be the featured speaker at a Santa Monica Democratic Club meeting at 7 p.m. in the community room at St. Anne’s Church at 20th and Colorado.

Kuehl will speak on the new single payer health insurance plan for Californians that has been approved by the State Assembly and is pending in the State Senate.

In addition to explaining the details of the plan, Kuehl will discuss the November special election, and answer questions from the audience.The meeting is open to everyone. Free parking is available and refreshments will be served.
