Wellness Community Holds Carnival on Pier:

The Wellness Community-West Los Angeles will hold a “Celebration of Life” Carnival at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier to make people aware of the free programs it offer people with cancer and their families and friends.

The carnival will take place Thursday evening, September 15, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for kids 7-12 years old, and children six and under are admitted free of charge.

Admission includes unlimited amusement rides, dinner, beverage, and snack. All proceeds from this event benefit TWC-WLA. For more information about this event, please call TWC-WLA at (310) 314-2555.The Wellness Community is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support and education as well as hope to people affected by cancer, free of charge. Through participation in professionally-led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of their disease.
