Santa Monica Professionals’ second annual Legendary Bingo benefit raised $22,000 for the Wellness Community, West Los Angeles.
“It was a fun way of [helping]…an organization that has helped so many people with cancer and their families free of charge,” said Toni Singman, Santa Monica Professionals President and owner of an interior design firm.
The sold out event was held last month at Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier and included a live auction and raffle for prizes such as a walk-on role on the daytime soap opera “Days of our Lives” and a personalized vacation worth $4,000.

Founded in Santa Monica in 1982, the Wellness Community-West Los Angeles, was the first of what has become a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients work with their doctors to fight for their recovery by providing a professional program of emotional support, education and hope.
