Former Santa Monica City Manager John Jalili has been named interim City Manager of Malibu.Bumped up from Deputy City Manager in 1983, following the resignation of City Manager John Alschuler, Jalili presided here until he retired in 1999. He will assume his new post on January 10, 2006.
