Katz, Adeyemi Were Samohi Stats Leaders:

Several players who led the Santa Monica High football team in statistical categories this season were underclassmen who are expected to play key roles again next year.

Sophomore quarterback Ryan Katz threw for 1,377 yards, completing 91 of 171 passes. Junior running back Lewis Adeyemi gained 833 yards and sophomore backup E.J. Woods had 435.

Junior Cameron Collins was the leading receiver, catching 34 passes for 508 yards. Senior tight end Christoff Neuman had 18 receptions for 291 yards, becoming less prominent late in the season due to an injury.

Adeyemi was second in tackles with 78 and Collins had 69.

The Vikings will miss Robert Garcia, a senior who led the team in tackles with 120.The sacks leaders were Freddy Cruz and Trevor Oblekea, who each had three per game.
