Girls’ Basketball
Four members of last season’s Santa Monica High girls team are competing in college. Amanda McGrew is at Rhode Island, Maggie Curry at Overland College, Rebecca Frank at Mills College, all playing basketball and London King is concentrating on soccer at Arizona.
Boys’ Soccer
Santa Monica High is ranked No. 9 in CIF Division 3. Samohi defeated South Torramce, 3-2. The Samohi goals were scored by Arthur Jozcowics, Victor Rivas and Luis Zavala.
St. Monica lost a non-league match to Serra, 6-0.
Crossroads lost to Bishop Monthomery, 2-0.
Girls’ Soccer
Santa Monica lost to Mira Costa, 1-0.
Water Polo
The Malibu High girls are ranked 10th in Division 4 by the CIF.
The Santa Monica girls are ranked sixth in Division 6.
