Basketball
The High Performance Basketball Academy, a project of former Beverly Hills High head coach Kevin Brown, is coming to Santa Monica College on January 14.
Brown is now a resident of Marina del Rey.
There will be instruction for boys and girls Saturdays until March 25, with each age group participating for one hour. Ages 9-10 will be at 9 a.m. and instruction will continue throughout the day until ages 13 and 14 begin at 3 p.m.
The instruction will also be available at Culver City High on Sundays from January 8 to June 25.
