As the race for the 41st Assembly District seat being vacated by Assembly member Fran Pavley becomes more focused, Americans for Democratic Action has scheduled a candidates forum to enable voters to meet the candidates and hear what they have to say on the issues. The forum is free and the public is invited.Slated to appear are candidates Julia Brownley, Barry Groveman, Kelly Hayes-Rait, Jonathan Levy, and Shawn Casey O’Brien The forum will be held Sunday, February 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Colorado Center Community Room, 2500 Broadway in Santa Monica. The 41st district includes about 70 miles of coastline between Oxnard and Santa Monica, as well as parts of the West Valley, Pacific Palisades and Brentwood, north of Montana. There is free street parking and attendees may also park in the building on the P-1 (top) level of the Yahoo! Center garage between Cloverfield and 26th Street on the Colorado Avenue Side.
