Free car seat inspections will be held on a first come, first served basis at Ralph’s Shopping Center Parking Lot, 23841 Malibu Rd., Malibu on Saturday, March 18, from 9am-2pm. The event is being organized by the California Highway Patrol, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office and Assemblymember Fran Pavley. Pavley introduced Assembly Bill 1697, which requires all children to remain in a car seat until they reach age six or weigh at least 60 pounds.
