CityTV Wins Top Awards:

The City of Santa Monica’s cable television channel 16 has recently won several programming awards.

CityTV won first place in the Overall Excellence Category for the States of California and Nevada Chapter (SCAN) of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) Star Awards.

Award-winning CityTV also won first place in the performing arts category for Downbeat Showdown, a program featuring local high school students. The station also won in the news division, with Santa Monica Update winning second place. Channel 16 garnered another second place win in the talk show genre for Legal Help Live.
