The North Venice Little League 13 and 14-year-old all-star baseball team has won the District 25 and Sectional tournaments.
North Venice won its first game in the state event, defeating a team from San Diego, 16-2. The winner of the tournament will compete in the Western Regionals in Beaverton, Oregon.
Tyler Skaggs and Vince Lawrence from Santa Monica High are on the team.
In the District 25 tournament North Venice defeated two teams from Santa Monica.
The results from the Southern California state tournament in San Diego were not known at press time.
