The Los Angeles Philharmonic has added Flea, the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to the lineup for artist Lauren Halsey’s “emajendat” at the Hollywood Bowl.
The performance is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. Previously announced artists include Erykah Badu, The Alchemist, DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak) and the Charles Gaines Collective with Black Nile and Devin Daniels. Halsey is also designing the stage.
Flea released his jazz solo debut album, “Honora,” in March. The project features him on trumpet and electric bass.
