Harbor Hands SMC 34-13 Loss:

The Santa Monica College football team lost to Harbor College, 34-13, on Saturday, October 21, in a Western State Conference Southern Division game.

SMC’s halftime deficit was only 18-13, but two second half interceptions hurt the Corsairs’ comeback efforts.

SMC is 1-6 overall. Harbor has a 3-4 record.

SMC quarterback Colin Clancy completed 16 of 23 passes for 194 yards, with LaVaughn Macon making six receptions. John Weaver was SMC’s leading rusher with 60 yards.

SMC will play East Los Angeles College Saturday, October 28, at 4 p.m. at Corsair Field.
