Malibu, St. Monica Continue To Struggle:

Two Westside football teams who have had difficult seasons lost their games last weekend.

Malibu High, which has a 2-6 record, was defeated in a Frontier League game by Fillmore, 47-6 on Friday, November 3.

St. Monica, which is 0-9, was shut out by Verbum Dei, 48-0, in a Camino Real League game on Saturday, November 4. St. Monica has scored 64 points this season and given up 370.
